Description

Meadow lake is a carp anglers paradise with over 100 carp present now boasting an ever growing head of 20lb+ specimens. A superb mix of original commons and newly stocked scaley mirrors, topped by the fact In recent years the carp have been piling on the weight and averaging double figures.

Not only is the Meadow lake a great carp lake, it is also a great pleasure fishing water. Joining the carp are a good head of bream averaging 4-6 lb, tench up to 4 lb, roach and eels.

The lake has recently undergone some major improvements, and now has 24 pegs made up from purpose built wooden platforms and natural banking making the lake much more accessible to disabled anglers.

Parking & access

At Junction 37, M4, take the A4229 three miles towards Porthcawl, turning left at the third roundabout. Drive past the speed camera and continue on this road until you come to the end of the row of houses on your right. Take the next turning right and you’ll be able to see the lake surrounded by metal railings.

Ample roadside parking is available but we ask all our visitors to be mindful of the residential housing situated around the lake.

Disabled access has improved massively over the years with plenty of peg options for disabled anglers.
